Hydrohistorian

Working models of Colorado's water districts, built from the state's own public records. Each basin is modeled as a flow network — every gage, diversion, and return placed at its river mile, walked downstream as a mass balance — then connected to its diversion history (daily records back to 1950), long-term flow statistics, and the water-rights layer: decrees, priority dates, and the administrative calls that explain why diversions start and stop — now joined by the groundwater beneath it all: monitored wells, water-table trends, and the stream–aquifer connection, basin by basin.
